Honda Activa CNG

The Honda Activa was launched in India in 2000.It is a motor scooter made by Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India. Production started in 2004 in Mexico. It is a 102 cc, 7 bhp (5.2 kW) scooter. The Honda Activa has the option of kick- and self-start includes the puncture-resistant "tuff-up" tire and tube combination depend on the customer requirement.

Honda Activa CNG is launch on August 23, 2016. It is one of the hottest and most affordable scooters available in India. There are some pointers that we will like to clear off. First, Honda Activa CNG is a factory fitment at the moment. This is an aftermarket fitment. Second, it has not gone on sale yet to publicly. The Activa CNG kit is still being tested. About 50 Domino Pizza delivery boys have got this scooter for real world testing in Delhi.

The estimated price of CNG Honda Activa is Rs. 65,000 and it's not launched for the general public. The mileage of CNG Activa is approximately 120 km/liter. The normal running cost in a petrol engine is Rs. 1.3 per km in Delhi while in CNG it could be 60-65 paisa per km is the cheapest scooter ever in the history.

A Honda Activa CNG as a Part of Pilot Project,It will hit the Road soon in India. Honda Activa CNG Price will depend on the kit you are going to buy. Honda Activa is chosen seeing its popularity and easy to drive. with 50 Activa as starting, the progress will be monitored. After desire result, the Activa in CNG project will be implemented commercially all over India. One can obtain the CNG kit from approved supplier from the government.

In a concrete step to curb pollution, the Indian government has launched a first-of-its-kind Pilot Programme in the country that will see two-wheelers running on Compressed Natural Gas (CNG). The ministry is looking to promote clean fuel with the pilot project that will not only be environment-friendly but will also be cheaper to run. The timeline to test run the pilot project though is not clear at present.
The pilot program is limited to Delhi at present and is being conducted by Indraprastha Gas and GAIL India. The project includes 50 Honda Activa scooters that have been retrofitted with CNG kits and will be given to Domino's Pizza delivery boys for free. The government will then monitor their performance closely for efficiency and emissions before the program is made accessible to the general public.

The CNG kit is fitted in front of the Honda Activa, where the glove box is located and as a result, do not consume on the luggage space on the scooter. The kit comprises of two CNG cylinders that have a capacity of 4.8-litres or 1 kg of CNG in each. The scooters are said to have a range of up to 120 km in a single fill. In contrast, Honda claims a fuel efficiency figure of 62 km pl on the petrol powered Activa. Going by the estimates, riding the CNG powered Activa could cost as low as 61 paise per km, as compared to ₹ 1.3 per km.

Royal Enfield Built for all roads

In 1909s Royal Enfield entered into the market and surprised the motorcycling world by introducing a small Motorcycle with a 2.25 HP V-twin Motosacoche engine of Swiss origin. In 1911s the next model was launched and powered by a 2.75 HP engine and boasted of the well known Enfield 2 speed gear. In 1912s it came with the JAP 6 HP 770 CC V-twin with a sidecar combination model. It was the awesome motorcycle which made Enfield a household name. 1914s it is come with the new concept the 3 HP motorcycles this time with Enfield’s own engine which now had the standardized Enfield paint scheme of black enameled parts and green tank with gold trim. Gold trim is still carried with the year by year it just like a brand image.

Royal Enfield is an Indian motorcycle manufacturing company with headquarters base in Chennai, India. Originally a British motorcycle company, Royal Enfield and indigenous Madras Motors, it is now a subsidiary of Eicher Motors Limited, an Indian automaker. The company makes the Royal Enfield Bullet and other single-cylinder motorcycles. Established in 1893, Royal Enfield is among the oldest motorcycle companies which come with a unique concept and generate its big brand name over the world.

The Enfield Cycle Company made motorcycles, bicycles, lawnmowers and stationary engines under the name Royal Enfield out of its works based at Redditch, Worcestershire. The legacy of weapons manufacture is reflected in the logo comprising the cannon, and the motto "Made like a gun". Use of the brand name Royal Enfield was licensed by the Crown in the 1890s.

Iconic Indian bike maker Royal Enfield announced an uncanny partnership as it joined hands with Happy Socks, a leading European brand for designer socks and men’s underwear. As part of the new joint venture, they have come up with a multi-product capsule collection consisting of apparel & accessories for men that include motorcycling jacket, sweatshirts, t-shirts, helmets and a series of socks and boxer briefs. Apart from the above, Royal Enfield has also built four limited edition of the Continental GT café racer bike. The specially built Royal Enfield Continental GT will be displayed at Happy Socks exclusive brand stores in London, Stockholm, Copenhagen and Mumbai.
